Policies
Deposit Policy
50% of Rental Amount is due at time of booking. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please note that there is a $50/day penalty associated with late payment of the balance.
Refundable Security Deposit per Rental - $10,000.00
Fees
VISA/MC/AMEX Transaction Fee - 3.5%
HST 13%
Turnover Cleaning Fee - $400.00 + $50 pet fee if applicable
Garbage Pick up Fee- Optional over 2 bag pick up. -$100/pick up
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy by Guest: Guest may cancel the agreement before 120 days prior to the start of the rental period, the deposit will be returned less transaction fee. If the Guest cancels the agreement 60 to 119 days prior to the start of the rental all deposits will be forfeited. If the Guest cancels the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the rental agreement the Guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.
Cancellation Policy by Agency: If something happens to the cottage that deems it un-rentable prior to the start date then the contract will be null and void and payments refunded.
COVID Cancellation Policy: If short-term rentals are banned due to COVID, rental dates can either be renegotiated or 100% of deposit will be refunded.
